PEP BAND

Description:

Pep Band is a performance group for intermediate instrumental musicians. Students will focus on music that is played at sporting events. Pep band music will be selected from previous year's music lists. This ensemble performs at basketball games. Performances and participation are not required but encouraged.  Practice sessions for pep band are always before games.  The times on the schedule are the times to arrive at the high school and we will practice for a while before the game.  Occasionally we will have a pizza party after a game.  The pizza parties are usually held on a Friday or Saturday.

What is Pep Band?

Open to all instrumentalist who have had at least 2 years of band experience.

Who is in Pep Band?

Generally, any member of the marching band can participate.  Exceptions are possible.  NU band alumni are invited to bring their instrument and play along with us at any game.

What happens in Pep Band?

Fun, excitement, pizza.
