NORTH UNION INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC DEPARTMENT

The Instrumental Music Department is comprised of music classes to include Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, 7th & 8th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band, an 5th Grade Band. As a part of the NU Instrumental Music Department, students have many opportunities to participate in events and activities including concerts, festivals, parades, adjudicated events, and sporting events. All students and parents involved in these classes/ensembles are a part of the NU Instrumental Music Department and the NU Band Boosters Organization.

Expectations and Goals

Students are encouraged to set and achieve goals. These are necessary components to a positive, successful program. All NU musicians are encouraged to set goals to become refined musicians. North Union builds dedicated, educated musicians who challenge themselves and each other in positive ways. Musical ensembles at North Union are safe places where students have fun while creating music of high quality.
